Oh dear! I have packed my bags with everything I would like to take with me and I am way over the weight limit!! I've paid another £60 for an additional 15kg on top of the 20kg I get as standard and the 5kg I get when I show my dive cert card and I think I am still over that limit!! I have what feels like almost 10kg of dive manuals which I'm hoping I can either not take with me or have posted out to me nearer the time when I'll potentially need them. I really can't understand how an airline thinks that a diver will have sufficient extra allowance with 5kg?! I think my BCD weighs more than 5kg alone never mind adding in my regulator and everything else. Am I supposed to live in my bikini? As much as that would be fab I think at night it is likely to be a tad chilly!! I suppose I am going to have to go back to my bags and take out some more things. :(
If only I could "zap" all my stuff over there, like the transporter/digitizer thing in Star Trek? How cool would that be?
